Kirinite is a high density cast acrylic resin. Kirinite can be machined, turned, carved and can also be threaded. Kirinite is one of the most impact resistant polymers is its field and is UV resistant. All pigments used in the production of Kirinite are eco friendly and lead free. 
 
One side is face polished to a high gloss for guitar pickguards or jewelry.
